Nigeria international goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has departed Cypriot First Division side Enosis Neon Paralimni following the expiration of his one-year contract, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper joined Neon Paralimni on a free transfer in July 2024 after parting ways with Israeli outfit Hapoel Jerusalem.
In his only season in Cyprus, Adeleye made 32 appearances across all competitions, impressively keeping 10 clean sheets and earning six Man of the Match awards.
Despite his efforts, the modest club could not retain the Nigerian shot-stopper, whose performances have reportedly attracted interest from several other Cypriot sides. A return to Israel, where he made his name, also remains a possibility.

Adeleye’s journey to professional football began at B-United Football Academy in Lagos before he moved abroad to join Hapoel Katamon in 2018.
He made his senior debut for Hapoel Jerusalem in 2019 and played a crucial role in the club’s promotion to the Israeli Premier League during the 2020/21 season, keeping 19 clean sheets.
He eventually made his top-flight debut in August 2021 with a clean sheet in a goalless draw against Hapoel Nof HaGalil.
At international level, Adeleye represented Nigeria at U17 and U20 levels before earning a senior call-up in June 2022. He made his Super Eagles debut a year later, in a 3–2 win over Sierra Leone.
Now a free agent, Adeleye will be weighing up his next move as he looks to continue building on his promising career.
